Final Reflections
1 How to Really Listen Becca Ross Coming into this Modern Dance class, I was excited to build on my previous dance experience and learn new ways to move, express myself, and connect with others. I saw it as a chance not just to improve my dance skills, but to grow as a person. I didn’t expect just how much I would take away from this class—both inside and outside of the studio. My takeaways from Modern Dance are that practice really does make perfect. Every stretch I struggled with at the beginning of the course started to feel easier by the end, and now I feel way more confident doing them in front of the class. They’re also less stressful on my body now. In addition, I learned a lot about teamwork.
