a. Dance a character outside your comfort zone.

b. Push for tougher choreography.

c. Analyze every step.

d. Study your transitions.

Music has many different fundamentals or elements. Depending on the definition of "element" being used, these can include: 

pitch, 
beat or pulse, 
tempo, 
rhythm, 
melody, 
harmony, 
texture, 
style, 
allocation of voices,
timbre or color, 
dynamics, 
expression,
articulation, 
form 
structure.

1) Dunham's dance experience influenced showbis in America by integrating African and Caribbean cultural traditions into popular dance styles.

2) The experience Dunham had with audiences in America was that the audience was segregated, African Americans couldn't sit in the orchestra seats, and people were just severely racist. 

3) Dunham's technique is mainly focused on body isolations, body carriage, and different levels. 

4) Based on this clip, Dunham's technique is mainly focused on levels, flexibility, controlled and repetitive movement, and head movement. 

5) Dunham's dance philosophy was rooted in integrating African traditions and classical dance technique. 

6) My favorite orisha dance was the oya dance because it looked very powerful and was very symbolic.
